10/16/2014 1 Comment in it for the long runI love to run. Its a great reason for me to stop, take a break from school work, life, and to go ahead and let my brain de-stress for a while. Although I sometimes completely unplug during my run, when I do decide to take my phone with me, the two apps I consistently use are Pandora Radio (Country Fitness Station) and MapMyRun. Below are my favorite things to wear when running. Click the images for direct links to my favorites! I always reach for these two styles first... Favorite Sports Bra...I wear this style exclusively when running... I love running in skirts, they don't ride up AND they are super cute and girly... Lululemon makes the best socks, hands down, or shall I say feet...sometimes I like to rock mid-calves... These are my favorite Nike sneakers (old, similar), my favorite snacks and running accessories.
10/14/2014 0 Comments prada matches everything......including my super awesome new Kate Spade Sedgewick Rain Boots!!!! I went for a classic neutral look to showcase my new booties and this fabulous Prada bag. I am a total sucker for a creamy white blouse or tee with skinny jeans, so this felt like the perfect opportunity to let my accessories be the center of attention! J.Crew Factory Ruffled Neck Cami

Taylor and I kicked off the morning with a stroll down to a phenomenal coffee shop, Taproom Coffee & Beer, then headed out for a trip to the mall, some manipedis, and finally a highly anticipated dinner at my all-time Atlanta fave, Leon's Full Service. Looking back it may appear as though all I did this weekend was eat my way through Atlanta...Not untrue...Atlanta has been wonderful to me. I simply cannot wait for my next trip down for a very special occasion in April! Check back tomorrow morning to see one of new favorite outfits!
10/12/2014 1 Comment atlanta day 2It just keeps getting better. Today was filled with a big breakfast, an awesome trip to the most incredible farmer's market I have ever seen, a hike up Stone Mountain just outside the city and extensive neighborhood reasearch...I fell in love with Inman Park. We finished the day with a fabulous dinner made by my beautiful cousin, Sarah. 10/12/2014 2 Comments atlanta day 1Although the drive down yesterday was tainted slightly by some traffic, it was pretty painless and we were lucky enough to be greated with open arms by my cousin and her fiancé. Seriously, BEST HOSTS EVER, they had dinner ready for our arrival, which was fabulous. Recipe for that coming soon. Below are some of my favorite photos from my first day here! Sweet Table Numbers at Victory Sandwich Bar (I recommend the Mile High Club & The Hambo). Some sparkly things to try on at Saks... A stop in at Kate Spade...obviously. And an early Christmas present (Sedgewick Rain Boots)! So cool! Build your own driving mocs from Cole Haan - THE OPTIONS ARE ENDLESS! Couldn't skip this stop! J.Crew....nailed it...want them... Jenis Ice Cream -- UNREAL. Hands down, the BEST ice cream I have ever had. Favorite Flavors: Goat Cheese with Cherries Lemon & Blueberries SO MUCH SUSHI - my absolute fave **no I did not eat this entire plate by myself Last, but CERTAINLY not least, a trip to the "hippie land trust" for some sweet 70's music...quite the end to day 1. Can't wait to see what else this city has to offer, stay tuned for more tomorrow!
10/10/2014 0 Comments zac brown band buzzSince I have the BEST best friend ever, I was lucky enough to be given ZBB tickets for my birthday this summer, for the fall (the best kind of presents are those that give you something to look forward to, in my opinion anyway). It was a truly fabulous evening of awesome friends, great atmosphere, and some incredible music. Cowboy Boots: REQUIRED. If ZBB is coming to a city near you, buy tickets. Seriously. Maybe because my school colors included navy from K-12, maybe because it's a great alternative to black. Nevertheless, it continues to be a staple color in my wardrobe. Although it may be slightly embarrassing to count how many navy pieces there are in my wardrobe, one thing is for sure: navy goes with everything. Crisp white, turquoise, emerald green, leopard print, hot pink, even black! You name it, I've probably paired it with navy, and why not? Navy is classic and timeless. So get out there and try it! Have a different staple color? Tell me what your favorite is in the comments below! J.Crew Quilted Vest in Navy (old, new version)

Since it was a bit chilly today, I ditched the skirt that I had planned on tucking it into and went for classic skinny jeans. I absolutely love these 7 Jeans. The mid-rise cut is absolutely perfect for tucking tops into. To finish off the look I went for my favorite Steve Madden flats! Have you tried the graphic tee trend yet? If the answer is yes, where is your favorite from? J'ADORE Tee

Since I have been graced with extremely weak nails, I am always looking for base coats meant to strengthen and build. Alas I have found the best product yet, the Essie Grow Stronger Base Coat.
